Pope Francis and UNESCO joined forces in a global initiative to encourage a fresh dedication to educating children and youth, emphasising not only classroom learning but also the importance of family and community involvement.
The Global Compact on Education and UNESCO’s New Social Contract advocates for values such as inclusivity, justice, hope, unity and peace worldwide and the service of a better education for all. The project aims to achieve a future where education serves as a catalyst for positive global transformation by thoroughly analysing the diverse aspects of education governance.
The Together resource booklet is available to teachers, educators and schools as a valuable resource where they can actively incorporate the principles of the Global Compact on Education into their teaching and learning practices and facilitate the new social contract in which they are being invited.
